I didn't see your first post if this is an edited one, or just a lapse in responding that you are apologising for, but don't worry. Mostly because I thought I had your solution right away. I miss the Unreal Tournament and BF2 Days.ĮDIT: To relevant section of youtube video.Īpologies, I am experiencing insane ADD so I didn't quite read your full post comprehensively. Perhaps I was spoiled with different mods I have used, but GTA seems to be the most confusing. The confusion rests with whose instructions to follow and the issues listed above with MM.
I tested using just openIV to modify RPF files with community mods last night and worked fine. Only that when MM is installed it will move openIV to the mod folder (I think this is what is happening). I have reversed installing MM before OpenIV with no real change. Start modifying RPF within open IV without uising the MM import rpf function (as it doesn't work for me).
Install/Paste Script Hook/Native Trainer/dinput 5.
#GTA 5 MOD MANAGER INSTALL#
Use OpenIV Tools to install ASI Loader and OpenIV.asi 3. I have been intalling in this order: 1.Install/Paste and run OpenIV exe to Main drive 2. original file.Īlso not sure the best order to install these programs: I have tried Mod Managers suggestion of using MM to import and point the RPF file, but it fails to create a. I have not tried OpenIV's method of recreating the directory structure of the paths of RPF's to be modded within the 'mods' folder as I was trying to Get MM to work and had other unrelated issues such as MM deleting the entire MOD dir when trying to delete an individual mod. The only way I have attempted with success was to backup the RPF files I wished to modify and then use OpenIV to modify the files in their original locations. Mod Manager recommends through Bilagos tutorial video to use Mod Manager to create a backup of the RPF, modify an RPF and point it at the RPF to be replaced within the Manager.
#GTA 5 MOD MANAGER ARCHIVE#
The path to RPF archive in “mods” folder must be the same as in real GTA Vfolder, here is some examples: Grand Theft Auto V – Original archive path Path in “mods” folder GTAV\update\update.rpf GTAV\mods\update\update.rpf GTAV\common.rpf GTAV\mods\common.rpf GTAV\圆4\audio\sfx\SCRIPT.rpf GTAV\mods\圆4\audio\sfx\SCRIPT.rpf GTAV\update\圆4\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf GTAV\mods\update\圆4\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf GTAV\圆4e.rpf GTAV\mods\圆4e.rpf 7 – From this point if you want to install mod or edit some file you need to do it in archive from “mods” folder. The following table is explain how you need to copy archives to mods folder.
